His career path has taken him through senior corporate level positions with AT&T, Quicken Loans, JP Morgan Chase and MSN. His family emigrated to the U.S. from Baku, Azerbaijan in 1993, drawn by the world class education and opportunities. After graduating from the School of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, he embarked on his career path, honing business development and management skills he uses every day for his clients and strategic partners. His familial background and traditional views drive his business and decision making every day to uphold the integrity and credibility of the Elizarov name. Yakov is on the Board of Directors of Montgomery Business Development Corporation, was appointed by the State of Maryland as the Official Representative on Business and Economic Development in Eurasia, Central Asia and Baltic Regions, Board Member of Shalom Education Center, Advisory Board of Global Education for CCBC, Advisory Board of Anti Malaria Fashion Foundation. As a relationship builder, Yakov finds a natural ability to connect with people of different backgrounds, assisting them in variety of business situation that involve opportunity validation, connecting to strategic network of contacts, finding strategic and innovative solutions to simple and complex business challenges, and remaining available as the relationship grows.
